Production Director
Full Time Role | Reports to the Worship Pastor
GracePoint is a church body that averages over 2000 in weekly attendance in a vibrant and young community. The average age of Brookings is 24, which means there are a lot of young people and families! The city has a large university of over 11,000 students and our college and young adult ministry sees a weekly average of 500 in attendance. As our Production Director, you will play a key role in helping people encounter grace, grow in grace, and give grace. Collaborating with the Worship Pastor and Creative Arts Director, you will oversee all aspects of the production process, including audio, video, lighting, and team leadership. This role is vital to creating engaging and distraction free worship experiences and leveraging technology to share the message of the gospel both in-person and online.
The Production Director will oversee GracePoint’s production and technical ministries with the ultimate goal to help people encounter grace, grow in grace and become grace givers.

- 3 Sunday morning services
- 1 Sunday evening service (college & young adults)
- 2 Wednesday services (youth)

Core Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Worship Service Production
- Oversee the teams, systems, and processes for production (audio, video, lighting, and live stream) for GracePoint worship services and venues.
- Operate as technical point person for audio mixing, lighting, video switching, video recording and multicampus livestream.
- Build creative elements, lighting scenes and ProPresenter presentations for GracePoint worship services.
AV System Maintenance and Development
- Maintain existing systems as well as plan and cast vision for future enhancements and upgrades.
Lead and Develop Production Volunteer Team
- Train, equip, empower and schedule volunteers in the aforementioned ministry areas.
Video Shooting/Post-Production
- Work with Creative Arts director to organize, plan, shoot and edit high-quality and engaging videos (Prayer emphasis, Online Venue Host, Service openers, etc.)
Additional Responsibilities
- Be part of GracePoint’s service planning meeting to plan/implement creative service components.
Qualifications:
- A growing relationship with Jesus Christ
- Highly organized with strong administrative skills with the ability to oversee multiple teams, ministries and volunteers
- Committed sense of calling to ministry in the local church
- Effective communicator - written, publicly, and interpersonally
- Ministry/Production experience
- Ability to work with a staff and in a team setting
- Highly motivated and driven, Self-Starter
